Shalloway & Shalloway is pleased to announce their latest blog post on requirements for Medicaid eligibility in the state of Florida. The governmental support program is only distributed to those who need it, but those who can qualify for the financial assistance regularly changes. As it currently stands, there are a few baseline requirements one must meet to be eligible: the applicant must be a Florida resident, need health care/insurance assistance, have income below a certain threshold, be 65 years old, be pregnant/have a minor under 18, have a disability, or have a family member living in the household who has a disability. Though the requirements are prone to change, but this blog post is a great resource for those who want to learn more.

President Mark Shalloway and his dedicated staff at Shalloway & Shalloway are always working to create new resources for their clients to educate themselves with. The need for education is the primary reason the firm developed their free, virtual elder law seminars.

“We highly recommend the law firm of Shalloway & Shalloway, P.A. for any of your Medicaid Planning,” one client says. “We are fortunate enough to work with them for both of our parent’s needs. Our team at Shalloway & Shalloway has gone above and beyond more than once! Their client service is impeccable. We have found them to be extremely knowledgeable, especially when it comes to elder care.

At Shalloway & Shalloway, the clients always come first. For more information on the West Palm Beach elder law firm and their services, call 561-686-6200, or fill out this contact form.

(West Palm Beach, Florida) March 2, 2021

Shalloway & Shalloway is pleased to announce the upcoming dates in their free, virtual elder law series. Firm President, Mark Shalloway, believes it is incredibly important that the general public be educated on Medicaid planning, asset protection, or whatever other legal needs they have before they work with an elder law attorney. As a result, Shalloway developed this program. Each month, the West Palm Beach elder law firm hosts three virtual seminar dates for audiences to learn about one of the many topics elder law encompasses.

The upcoming dates are Tuesday, March 9 (2-4pm), Wednesday, March 10 (10am-12pm), or Thursday, March 11 (2-4pm). Join Mark Shalloway to learn more about applying for aging in place, avoiding probate and so much more. Though complete free, audience members are encouraged to reserve their spot in order to get the most out of the seminar. This can be done by calling 561-686-6200, emailing seminars@shalloway.com, or filling out this contact form.

“The time you took out of your busy schedule was most appreciated,” one satisfied client says. “We all learned something new and valuable. Thank you for a very eye-opening session.”
